PAASCU to hold CHST SHS official accreditation

College of the Holy Spirit of Tarlac (CHST) rejoices on the successful results of the preliminary accreditation of the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) for the Senior High School (SHS) Department held recently on March 21-22, 2024 at the SHS Holy Trinity building.

PAASCU, an association which grants initial accreditation for private schools valid for three years, officially announced that the official visit of the association to accredit the school for the quality of its education and student environment will be held officially in the academic year 2024-2025.

Accreditors from PAASCU namely, Dr. Maximo Muldong, Mr. Melencio Bernardino Jr., Mrs. Ma. Isabelita Soriano, Mr. Julius Grandea, Ms. Irene Barcelon, Dr. Violeta Andaleon, Mr. Jose Cuya, and Ms. Shaine Montiveros had led the preliminary accreditation of CHST’s SHS department.

The overall efficiency and performance of CHST SHS department will be evaluated for the official visit, the initial visit held recently were to evaluate the initial concerns and points of improvement to be considered by the school.

Recommendations have been yet to be announced by the PAASCU on the excellence and efficiency of the school, to which will be announced to the school on its official visit for the incoming school year.

The Basic Education Department of CHST had been re-accredited for Level III, the highest level of accreditation, on March 4, 2024, before the preliminary visit for the SHS department had commenced.
