I write to you today on behalf of the Holy Spirit School System regarding a recent matter of concern that has come to our attention. It has been brought to our notice that an unauthorized solicitation letter for school funding has been circulating within our community. We wish to address this issue promptly and transparently, acknowledging the gravity of the situation, and extending our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience or concern it may have caused.
At the Holy Spirit School System, we uphold ourselves to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. The unauthorized release of a solicitation letter dated May 3, 2024, authored by Kenneth Navarra and addressed to graduates and alumni of all Holy Spirit Schools, is a clear breach of these standards. We are taking swift action to address the issue and prevent any recurrence in the future.
While we must address the unauthorized solicitation, it’s important to acknowledge and appreciate the initiative taken by those who spearheaded the fundraising drive, despite it being unsanctioned. The dedication and passion shown by individuals like Mr. Kenneth Navarra and Mrs. Mendoza in supporting our schools are commendable. While the method may have been unauthorized, their commitment to the well-being of our institutions is undeniable.
Please rest assured that the content of the released solicitation letter does not reflect the official stance, intentions, or strategies of the Holy Spirit School System. We are committed to conducting our fundraising efforts with transparency, honesty, and respect for the privacy of our donors and stakeholders.
In the meantime, we kindly request your cooperation in refraining from further dissemination or distribution of the unauthorized solicitation letter. We are working diligently to rectify the situation and appreciate your understanding and support during this challenging time.
